Enjoy your stay on the largest lake of Lower Saxony. Whether you prefer sailing, fishing, hiking or cycling, here is the best place to do so. If you just want to relax you can do it right here. The beautiful lanscape of the Lake Steinhude, surrounded by meadows and moorlands, ranged by hiking trails and cycle tracks invites you to discover a part of Northern Germany. Have a closer look at the native fauna  in the wildpark Naturpark Steinhuder Meer. Many native bird species found in the natural park Steinhude a home and can be seen here. But just the Lake makes the region of Steinhude complete. Sailing, rowing, paddling, swimming - all this is possible and many more.

You can choose either a new and comfortable furnished apartment or a barrier-free flat with sauna and walk-in closet, both are in a quiet location, suitable for allergics and therefore non smoking. Your start from here your trips in the immediate environments. For your comfort there are a new kitchen as well as a commodious bathroom with shower, LED-TV, DVD-player and free Wi-Fi. We can make your holiday perfect by offering free use of our private pier and a rowboat available at 150 meters (500 ft) only. You are also welcome to use our pier and our rowboat free of charge.

Extras

For sailors with an own sailboat we offer a free space for your vessel at our pier as long as you stay with us. The boat can be launched by a crane just 400 meters (440 yd) away at Hafenstraße for a small charge and may be put back on the trailer when you leave. The size of the boat is limited by a lenght of 7 meters (23 ft), a width of 2,40 meters (8 ft) and a draught of 1,10 meters (3.5 ft)
